  2. I was raised on a fresh Mediterranean diet. It wasn’t until 5 decades when I was staying with a friend and they had a freezer full of frozen vegetables. I had always thought that they were full of additives and tasted terrible. She had frozen broccoli and 1 minute steaming it, it tasted wonderful. I was quite surprised, and decided to temporarily forfeit fresh or canned for frozen, and you are absolutely correct .. the variety available of out of season veggies and fruits is wonderful. I now regularly buy frozen.
