Here’s what you’ll need: 7 fluid ounces of olive oil, plus one teaspoon each of turmeric, black cumin, and ground coffee. Each of these ingredients has a strong natural color. That’s what helps mask those dull gray strands while keeping your hair healthy without chemical exposure.
The gray strands soak up this blend, recovering a uniform color that matches the rest of your hair. To make sure the results stay impressive, it’s important to follow the right preparation and application steps.
Step-by-step guide to hide gray hair with this natural remedy
Start by pouring the olive oil into a saucepan over low heat. Slowly add the teaspoon of turmeric, black cumin, and ground coffee, mixing each one in gently. Keep the mixture on the heat for about 2 minutes to let everything infuse well.
Spreading out your workouts during the week leads to greater strength gains
Let the mixture cool down for a few minutes before applying it on your gray hair. Using a toothbrush or a fine-tooth comb helps spread the color evenly and encourages absorption. Leave it on for about 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and shampoo as usual.
I remember trying a natural hair dye once when I was in my 30s. I wanted to avoid the harsh chemicals in store-bought products because my scalp can be quite sensitive. The result was surprisingly good—a natural, even tone that covered my grays gently without drying out my hair. It was a small self-care moment that gave me more confidence and reminded me how simple, natural solutions often work best.

Thank you very much very pleased to hear about this new way the color gray that I’m getting older, but I have developed a sinus in my shoulders so it is very hard to put the strands of your hair to make it go through or try to highlight with the Pic. I’m very happy. I will forward it on my website. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
Shampoo your hair with rosemary and mint shampoo, use black coffee that you’ve either brewed or reezed died coffee stired in hot water. Let cool then rinse your hair with it. Then use rosemary and peppermint conditioner. The recipe you mention in the article is healthy however, good luck trying to get the oil outta ya hair. 🌺
Oh and simmer fresh rosemary sprigs in water. Let cool. Add a drop or two of essential oil like peppermint optional. Put the rosemary water into a spray bottle and spray your hair all through your day. Your hair will grow like a rosemary weed. You’re welcome. Put coconut oil sparingly on your temples or wherever you’re going grey. You’re welcome again. P.S. Be patient.
The mixture sounds good but I’m afraid because I’m already struggling with hair loss due to different medication. Cholesterol, insulin, glipizide and high blood pressure medication.
Black cumin should be ground or heat it as it is?
The other two are powdered form so when applying will it be stickied in hair?
Doesn’t sound like this works on all colors! My natural hair color is between strawberry blonde and light auburn. How does this mixture work on all colors?
